Real agents of the music elite are coming to the Christopher Summer Festival, drawing audiences with the emotionality of their musicianship and fine-tuned culture of sound. Our guests from Denmark, the Corona Guitar Quartet, have been highly acclaimed by music critics. They are known as one of the strongest collectives of their kind. The quartet stands out not just for its excellent technique, unified performance practice and lucid playing (features which have seen the quartet compared to classical string quartets), but also for its sense of humour and warm rapport with the public. The musicians' repertoire features numerous works arranged by the ensemble spanning all musical eras, however the most important component is contemporary music, created especially for you.
