Programme: Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach, Alfred Schnittke, Bélla Bartók, James Patten The Klaipėda Chamber Orchestra under the artistic direction of Mindaugas Bačkus will have a go on March 10th. This time they will appear under the baton of Vytautas Lukočius, possessing a very distinctive and dynamic artistic personality. He will conduct the Hamburg Symphony by Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach and Bartók's Divertimento for string orchestra. He will also play solo piano in the performance of Alfred Schnittke's Piano Concerto. The Klaipėda Choir Aukuras (artistic director Alfonsas Vildžiūnas) will join the Orchestra in the performance of Stabat Mater by contemporary British composer James Patten.
