Hip-hop legend 50 Cent will perform in Kaunas this fall

On October 11th for the very first time in Lithuania, the hip-hop legend 50 Cent will perform at Žalgiris Arena.
The performance will be a part of the Final Lap anniversary tour dedicated to his Grammy award-winning debut album "Get Rich Or Die Tryin'", which was relased exactly 20 years ago.
As special guest is announced Busta Rhymes - another hip-hop heavy-weight name.

Pre-sale at entire www.bilietai.lt network starts on Wednesday, June 7th, at 10.00. General sale – on Friday, June 9th, at 10.00.

50 Cent, born Curtis James Jackson III, is an award-winning rapper entrepreneur actor and producer from Queens New York. Recognized as one of the most talented and prolific music artists of his time the Grammy Award winner rose to fame with his record-shattering debut album “Get Rich or Die Tryin'” and has since sold more than 30 million albums worldwide and been awarded numerous prestigious accolades, including a Grammy, a Primetime Emmy, Billboard Music, World Music,  American Music and "BET" awards.

His first major-label album “Get Rich or Die Tryin'” (2003), produced by Eminem and Dr. Dre, was a huge commercial success. Its gritty singles, including Wanksta and In Da Club, were underpinned by strong hooks that helped turn them into crossover pop hits. The album spawned the Billboard Hot 100 number one singles In da Club and 21 Questions, and was certified 9× Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America.

50 Cent had similar commercial and critical success with his second album, “The Massacre” (2005), which contained the tracks Candy Shop and Just a Lil Bit.

He underwent musical changes by his fifth album, “Animal Ambition” (2014), and is currently working on his sixth studio album.

Curtis Jackson has also enjoyed success with his forays into film and television. Since 2014, he has served as an executive producer and supporting player in the crime drama “Power”. Jackson also landed a prominent role alongside Sylvester Stallone in 2013's “Escape Plan” (and its two sequels) and appeared in the films “Spy” (2015), “Southpaw” (2015) and “Den of Thieves” (2018).

Over the years 50 Cent has built impressive career as a musician, actor, producer and entrepreneur. He was ranked the sixth-best artist of the 2000s and the third-best rapper only behind Eminem and Nelly. His hits remain among the most listened hip-hop pieces in the whole history of the genre. And now he's coming to Kaunas to perform to Lithuanian audience for very first time. Don't miss this unique chance.
