Still life. (režisierius Tom Bailey) Premjera!
Still Life (nature morte) is an exploration of a personal story of cancer survival, through body, image and sound. Exploring the painting tradition of 'nature morte' in a theatrical context, the show plays with the simple theme of putting objects as a metaphor for life, death and survival. The show's director, Tom Bailey (England), survived cancer in 2021, and this show is a response to that experience. What happens when the body encounters Death and Cancer? Combining sound art, tragicomic performance and visual poetry, this show explores the body's journey towards death and back into life. Working with an international team, this devised theatre production has been co-created by a group of performers and a sound designer, combining creatives from Lithuania and England.
