On March 22nd, 2013 american ska band „Reel big fish” will play their second show in Latvia, Riga – concert hall „Palladium”. They will be accompanied by the band „Suburban legends” from California.
After a sucsessful sold-out show in Latvia on February 2008, „Reel big fish” are returning once again to play in Riga on March 22nd 2013. This show will be a part of the support tour for their latest album „Candy coated fury”.
Being a big part of the ska music genre, „Reel big fish” is an American band from Huntington Beach, California, best known for the 1997 hit "Sell Out". The band gained mainstream recognition in the mid-to-late 1990s, during the “third wave” of ska with the release of the gold certified album “Turn the radio off”. Soon after, the band lost mainstream recognition but gained a strong and lasting underground following. The “Reel big fish” are no longer signed to a major record label since 2006 and are currently one of the biggest independent ska bands in the world.
