One of the most influential choreographers of contemporary dance presents a creation born from the deepest personal loss: the death of her mother. Eight dancers speak through the body what words cannot express: breathing, moving, stopping. With her signature visceral physicality and precise movement, Eyal creates a space where sadness becomes a force, and death becomes part of life.

Together with long-time partner Gai Behar, the company S-E-D – founded in 2013 – has become one of the most sought-after dance companies in the world. From the Paris Opera to Sadler’s Wells, from Nederlands Dans Theater to the world’s most prestigious stages, Eyal’s choreographic voice is unmistakable. Over fifty works, major awards – the FEDORA VAN CLEEF & ARPELS Ballet Prize, the Faust Prize, the Grand Prize of the Dutch Dance Days – and the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres (Officière) awarded by the French Ministry of Culture testify to an artist who continually redefines what it means to move and to feel.
