Baltic International Airshow 2025

World-class air show in Riga will take place this summer!

The largest air show in the Baltics will finally arrive in the capital, this year on June 27-28, at the Spilve airfield and will gather participants from 10 countries and visitors from at least 33 countries!

BIA 2026 is the only air show in the Baltic States with such an international flight program and so many military participants that will not leave anyone indifferent! An event for the whole family!

In addition to the daytime program, visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy an unforgettable Sunset/Night aviation show lasting more than an hour with the world's best industry participants (Saturday evening).

Real fighter jets, aerobatics groups, previously unseen stunts in the air and on the ground, solo performances and many Baltic and Latvian premieres - Baltic International Airshow 2026 will present a breathtaking show for the whole family for the fifth year in a row!

Participants announced so far:
• The largest aircraft in the air show – the huge transport aircraft Airbus A400M Atlas with a full, dynamic demonstration flight from the German Air Force.
• The fighter, the lightning-fast SAAB JAS-39C Gripen DEMO TEAM from the Hungarian Air Force with a full dynamic demo performance. (The only air show in the Baltics this summer with such a performance!)
• For the first time in our air show – RAFALE fighters from the French Air Force.
• For the first time in the Baltics - the Slovenian Air Force PC-9M Hudournik – one of the most impressive turboprop solo performances in Europe.
• Air Bandit – Man, Myth, Legend – the inimitable aerial virtuoso and loop maestro – Jurgis Kairys from Lithuania with a day and night show.
• World-famous Aerosparx (2x Grob motor gliders) from Great Britain with a Night show never seen before in Latvia.
• World premiere only at the BIA 2026 air show – the fast Rutan Long-EZ aircraft in the special SMURF livery, which will make its first flight at the air show after restoration with a pilot from Italy – Alessandro Scorrano.
• Legend in the sky – the iconic DC-3 “Daisy” historical passenger plane from Sweden.
• Helicopter aviation legend – Westland AH1 Gazelle helicopter from Policopter.eur
• Latvian paramotor team Storm Riders (Adrenalins.lv) formation flight with a daytime and also a Sunset/Night show prepared specifically for our air show with LED lights, smoke and pyrotechnics.
• Avio-moto-auto stunt team from Lithuania – Sky Hackers with new, never-before-seen tricks, as well as several fan-favorite stunts from previous shows that have not been seen in Riga yet and will make your heart beat faster.
• Future Wings with a whole TWO helicopters in the flight program – Robinson R-44 and Robinson R-22.
• The first in Europe – Helibaltic HeliKart – a unique helicopter experience, safe in a controlled environment – for anyone.
• Electric aviation elegance – miniLAK FIS electric motor glider and Vytautas Maciulis from Lithuania.
• Airplane vs. Formula! Latvian-made Tarragon Turboprop aircraft vs. a real Formula, piloted by experienced racer Valērijas Urbāns.
• Dynamic performance from Policopter.eu – the compact but fast TN-34 Tornado helicopter.
• PITTS M-12 Monster and pilot Alexander Bryntsalov with a wildly powerful aerobatics flight.
• State Border Guard helicopter Agusta, which will be on display in the static area, as well as arriving at the event during the show.

If you have purchased BIA 2025 tickets, you can safely use them for the 2026 event. New tickets with the 2026 date will not be issued.

Military aircraft (fighter jets) will be based at Riga and Lielvārde airports and will arrive over Spilve airfield to perform demonstrations.
