Pitbull - I'm Back!
The enormous interest in global music star Pitbull’s concert in Lithuania has exceeded all expectations. It has been announced that the artist will not limit himself to the already fully sold-out show at Kaunas Darius and Girėnas Stadium. Today it was officially confirmed that one of the world’s most famous pop music performers will hold another performance in Lithuania – on November 30, Pitbull will perform at Kaunas “Žalgirio” Arena.
Joining Pitbull on stage in Kaunas will be another equally well-known name – rapper Lil Jon. This is the news thousands of fans had been waiting for, especially those who did not manage to buy tickets to the stadium show taking place this summer.
Tickets for the Pitbull concert will be available at all Bilietai.lt outlets and online at www.bilietai.lt starting Friday, March 13 at 10:00 AM. One day earlier, from Thursday, March 12 at 10:00 AM, members of the “Live Nation Lithuania” club will have access to the presale. You can register for the Live Nation Lithuania club here: www.livenation.lt.
Just last week it was announced that all tickets for the artist’s show at Darius and Girėnas Stadium had sold out, even though more than five months remain until the event.
In this case, demand significantly exceeded supply – according to ticket distributor Bilietai.lt PLG, tens of thousands of fans were waiting for tickets to Pitbull’s concert.
According to the event organizers, this is an unprecedented case in Lithuanian music history, when a foreign artist announces an additional concert in the same calendar year due to overwhelming demand.
A Global Phenomenon That Conquered the Charts
Pitbull is a true international music phenomenon. Born in Miami, Armando Christian Pérez has become one of the most influential names in pop and Latin music over the past two decades.
His songs – “Give Me Everything” (with Ne-Yo), “Timber” (with Kesha), “International Love,” “Feel This Moment” (with Christina Aguilera) and many others – have not only been played on radio stations across all continents but have also reached top positions on the Billboard Hot 100 charts and amassed billions of streams online.
Throughout his career, Pitbull has released 11 studio albums, sold more than 25 million albums and over 100 million singles, while his music videos have been viewed more than 15 billion times on YouTube alone. His repertoire spans multiple genres – from hip-hop to pop and reggaeton, reflecting the unique sound of Miami and Latin American cultures.
Collaborations With Global Stars
Pitbull has recorded and collaborated with many world-renowned artists, including Jennifer Lopez, Christina Aguilera, Kesha, Ne-Yo, Enrique Iglesias, Shakira, Usher, Akon, Lil Jon, Marc Anthony, Chris Brown, DJ Khaled, T-Pain, and Sean Paul.
In 2024, Pitbull also collaborated with rock legend Bon Jovi, releasing the hit “Now or Never.” The unexpected duet instantly became a global hit, once again proving Pitbull’s ability to bridge genres and generations.
Awards and Recognition
Pitbull is a Grammy Award winner, earning the award for Best Latin Rock, Urban or Alternative Album for “Dale” (2016). That same year, he received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, a symbolic recognition of his contribution to the entertainment industry.
The artist has also received numerous other honors, including awards and nominations from the Billboard Music Awards and MTV Video Music Awards.
Entrepreneur and Philanthropist
Pitbull is also known as a businessman and philanthropist beyond the music industry. He founded the SLAM! (Sports Leadership and Management) network of schools in the United States, aiming to provide children from underserved communities with high-quality education and sports opportunities.
In addition to music, Pitbull has built a diverse business empire. He founded the Mr. 305 record label, the Voli 305 Vodka brand, and “Globalization”, a SiriusXM radio channel dedicated to rhythmic music hits from around the world.
Recently, he also made history by becoming the first artist to have a sports stadium named after him in the United States – the stadium at Florida International University (FIU) is now called “Pitbull Stadium.”
The Success of a Global Tour
Pitbull is currently continuing his world tour, which has been hugely successful across the globe. Last year, the artist performed across Europe, where tickets to arenas in major cities sold out almost instantly.
At London’s O2 Arena alone, a crowd of 20,000 fans gathered. The February 26 concert there was completely sold out. Critics and fans alike often describe Pitbull as one of the most charismatic and energetic performers of his generation.
The Pitbull concert in Lithuania is presented by the largest event organizer in the Baltic States – Live Nation Lithuania.
