Toula Limnaios — one of the boldest voices in contemporary European dance — brings to Kaunas a work that has toured festivals across Poland, Germany, and Italy since its Berlin premiere, leaving audiences shaken and exhilarated. The choreographer draws on Walter Benjamin's vision of the angel of history — the figure from Paul Klee's painting, face turned to the past, wings caught in a storm that drives it inexorably forward.
