„Nežinau, ar esu iš šio pasaulio, ar ano..." – Adomas Mickevičius, poetas, gimęs netoli Naugarduko, augęs Lietuvos žemėse, „Vėlines" parašė remdamasis tuo pačiu ritualu, kurį mename ir šiandien: lapkritį uždegame žvakes, prisimename tuos, kurių nebėra, kviečiame juos bent trumpam sugrįžti – nes vis dar jų ilgimės.
Devyni šokėjai lieka kartu su tavimi visą vakarą – jų judesys atveria erdvę, kur laikas susipina, o tie, kurių nebėra, tarsi vėl atsiranda šalia. Vienu metu riba tarp žiūrovo ir dalyvio tiesiog dingsta.
Kodėl verta ateiti? Nes „Vėlinės" – ne istorijos pamoka, o proga patirti tai, ką mūsų kultūra mena jau šimtmečius: susitikimą su tais, kurių nebėra. Choreografė šį Mickevičiaus tekstą paverčia gyvu, šiuolaikišku scenos įvykiu – judesiu, šviesa, bendru buvimu.
Dramaturgė – Teresa Fazan. Scenoje – nuostabūs devyni Lenkijos šokio teatro atlikėjai.
