Eurovision stars Marcus & Martinus are coming to Vilnius

On August 4, one of the most exciting acts to emerge from the Eurovision stage will perform at Vilnius’ most unique venue, Lukiškės Prison 2.0. Norwegian twin duo Marcus & Martinus, who have amassed millions of fans across Europe, are coming to Lithuania following their standout appearance at the 2024 Eurovision Song Contest, where they represented Sweden with their hit single “Unforgettable”.

Tickets for the Marcus & Martinus concert will go on sale through all Bilietai.lt outlets and online at www.bilietai.lt from 10:00 AM on Wednesday, May 20. Members of the Live Nation Lithuania Club will have access to an exclusive pre-sale starting at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, May 19. Registration for the Live Nation Lithuania Club is available at www.livenation.lt.

Marcus & Martinus launched their career in 2012 when, at just ten years old, they won Norway’s Melodi Grand Prix Junior with the song “To dråper vann”. Since then, they have become one of Scandinavia’s most successful pop acts. Their debut album “Hei” reached No. 1 on the Norwegian charts, while the hit single “Elektrisk” remained in the Norwegian charts for an impressive 66 weeks. They went on to release a string of successful albums, including “Together”, “Moments” and “Unforgettable”, while songs such as “Girls”, “Heartbeat”, “Air” and “Unforgettable” have accumulated hundreds of millions of streams worldwide.

In 2024, the duo became one of Eurovision’s biggest sensations. After winning Sweden’s national selection competition, Melodifestivalen, Marcus & Martinus represented Sweden at the Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö with “Unforgettable”. They finished ninth in the Grand Final with 174 points. Their performance attracted widespread attention thanks to its futuristic staging, choreography and visual production, while the song became one of the contest’s most streamed entries.

Interestingly, although the brothers are Norwegian, they represented Sweden at Eurovision, generating significant media attention and fan interest across Europe. Over the course of their decade-long career, Marcus & Martinus have received numerous awards, including Norway’s prestigious Spellemannprisen awards, international Bravo Otto honours and Sweden’s Rockbjörnen Award for Group of the Year.

The only Marcus & Martinus concert in Lithuania, taking place at Lukiškės Prison 2.0, is presented by Live Nation Lithuania, the largest concert promoter in the Baltics.
