PREMJERA | Kauno šokio teatras Aura | Dausos

“Dausos” is not a story told, “Dausos” is an experience. Choreographer Jacek Przybyłowicz does not seek to define a clear dramaturgy, but invites the audience to discover for themselves the meanings that emerge from the encounters between the dancers' bodies, sound and movement. 

This is a dance performance that explores the relationship between the human being and the surrounding environment, the relativity of the sense of time and the possibility of new relationships in a space that is not known but felt.

Before „Dausos“ starts, the audience will have a unique opportunity to see „behind the scenes“ of the dancers' work. Birutė Letukaitė's movement composition “Prelude” will search for a thin dramaturgical line between documentary and theatre. During Prelude, the dancers will reveal their unique personalities, movement styles and different dance techniques. 

 "Prelude“ is a non-committal, unexpected look at the work of Aura Dance Theatre.
