The biggest sporting event in Lithuania in 2025 – the World Modern Pentathlon Championships!
From August 26 to 30, the first Olympic world championship in Lithuania will take place at the Žalgiris Arena in Kaunas. The event is sponsored by the President of the Republic of Lithuania, Gitanas Nausėda.
More than 40 countries, the world's best pentathletes, and a whole sports festival in one arena! Fencing, swimming, obstacle course, running, and shooting – the entire pentathlon in just 90 minutes – is modern, fast-paced, and exciting.
Lithuania will be represented by 15 athletes at this historic championship, including Elzė Adomaitytė, Titas Puronas, and Paulius Vagnorius, who have already won several international medals. Come and support Lithuanian athletes!
The event will feature not only sports, but also entertainment for spectators and show elements that will turn each day of the competition into a real celebration.
